We are an interdisciplinary NGO that since 2011 supports the integral development of Colombian society through health, promoting public policies and strengthening technical and administrative capacities at national, regional and local levels.

 

Throughout our history, we have strengthened ties with diverse communities in the development of projects that promote health and enhance social change with respect for local cultures in the most difficult to access areas of the country, while articulating efforts and knowledge from different sectors and institutions to achieve joint solutions to situations of inequity.

 

This has earned us recognition such as the Healthcare Innovation Award, granted by Save the Children and GSK, after a rigorous selection process in which we were selected among more than 170 institutions from 30 countries for improving access to intercultural health services in 18 rural communities in the department of Vaupés.
 

Our committed and quality work has earned us awards such as the Recognition for Excellence in Comprehensive Early Childhood Care in 2014, awarded by the Ministry of Health, the Healthcare Innovation Award (2017) by Save the Children, the Child Nutrition Award from Fundación Éxito (2019), the nomination among the 20 best Leaders of Colombia by Semana Magazine in 2019, the recognition to the most outstanding social innovation initiatives of 2021 given by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the Corporación Cideim and the UNAH National Autonomous University of Honduras, the honorable mention, the Kenneth C. Frazier Award for Maternal Health Equity from Merck for Mothers (2021) and the Honorable Mention in the Solidarity category of the Alejandro Angel Escobar National Awards (2021).
