We are a Colombian transdisciplinary nonprofit founded in 2011 that supports the comprehensive development of communities and territories through health. To do so, we strengthen technical, organizational, and community capacities at the national, regional, and local levels, and engage in public policy through facilitating respectful dialogue between actors and knowledge systems, always prioritizing community voice.

Throughout our history, we have accompanied indigenous, Afro-Colombian, and rural communities in the design and implementation of projects that promote their health and transform structural inequities. All of this with two defining features: an intercultural perspective — one that starts from local worldviews and puts them in respectful dialogue with whatever external contributions may be relevant — and a special emphasis on women, girls, boys, adolescents, persons with disabilities, and excluded populations.

Our deepest roots are in the Colombian Amazon, particularly with the indigenous peoples of the Vaupés department. Over more than 15 years, however, we have worked with communities across all 32 departments of Colombia.
