Tool developed by women leaders from the Vaupés River and Caño Cuduyarí to measure tolerable alcohol consumption and thus prevent illness and problems among individuals, families, and the community. Developed as part of the project “Improving access to health services with an intercultural approach in indigenous communities in rural areas of Vaupés.”

Community workshop for suicide prevention

Workshop to identify risk factors and protective factors in the community that enable the development of appropriate tools for suicide prevention in individuals, families, and communities that exhibit suicidal behavior.

Explanatory Model of Suicidal Behavior

Model based on interviews with specific individuals, some of whom were directly affected by these behaviors, with communities through focus groups and workshops, experts in traditional medicine, and leaders.

Methodological proposal for the analysis of determinants of suicidal behavior among indigenous people in Vaupés

Methodology that seeks to reconstruct the historical processes surrounding the increase in cases of suicidal behavior among the indigenous population of Vaupés, with the aim of constructing explanatory statements about the problem referring to the specific time period and area addressed.
