The maps present indicators that reflect the impact of COVID - 19 on the territorial entities of the Colombian Amazon, both at the departmental level, as well as in municipalities and non-municipalized areas. For the calculation of these indicators, data published by the National Institute of Health (dataset of cases published daily), the National Department of Statistics (population projections) and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection (number of vaccine doses applied) are used.

The maps are built on the Google Maps platform, and are available on the Sinergias website to consult the variables one by one according to the desired territorial level. Once inside the map, you can see the name of the indicator represented at the top left, as well as the cut-off date of the information and the sources used.

Navigating over the map and selecting the polygon of the municipality or department you want to consult, you will find the different indicators. On the left side of the map you will find the conventions for each territorial entity. In the upper part you will find the indicator referring to the consulted variable, followed by the other COVID - 19 indicators that we calculate.

Sinergias will be updating this information weekly with the most recent data, giving a current overview of the situation of the virus in the different regions of the Colombian Amazon.
