Assistance and promotion of sexual and reproductive health for migrant and refugee women and girls from Venezuela and their host communities in Colombia - International Organization for Migration.
The purpose of this agreement was to develop technical guidelines for sexual and reproductive health care with a differential approach for the Venezuelan migrant population, especially girls, adolescents and women, ensuring the inclusion of gender and rights approaches for comprehensive care in the context of migration and humanitarian emergency in the districts of Cartagena, Santa Marta and Barranquilla.
The project has the following requirements and purposes:
1. Identification of the needs for differential care in sexual and reproductive health of the Venezuelan migrant population, especially girls, adolescents and women.
2. To provide recommendations and technical guidelines for differential care in sexual and reproductive health of the Venezuelan migrant population, especially girls, adolescents and women, directed to the local hospitals allied to the project.
3. Provide technical support to territorial health entities and local hospitals allied to the project for sexual and reproductive health care with a differential approach to the Venezuelan migrant population, according to the needs identified in each of the territories.
4. Propose and develop a methodology adapted to the pandemic by COVID - 19 in the prioritized districts, for the identification of HIV risk behaviors in the host and migrant population, socializing results and generating recommendations to health authorities and communities for their approach.
