Inputs for the construction of a modality for the reestablishment of rights of indigenous children and adolescents of the Caño Mochuelo Resguardo - UNICEF

This project was linked to one of the components of the project we conducted the previous year on gender-based violence in indigenous populations. The purpose was to develop a Model Proposal for psychosocial intervention for children and adolescents victims of sexual violence focused on the Maiben Masiware and Wipi Jiwii peoples of the Caño Mochuelo Resguardo, to generate methodological and conceptual tools and instruments to guarantee an intercultural approach and to make a methodological proposal to carry out the process of agreement and validation of said psychosocial intervention proposal.

The Model of psychosocial intervention to address sexual violence against children and adolescents that we designed proposes general guidelines and orientations to carry out psychosocial, intercultural interventions, adjusted to the needs, uses and customs of the people at the individual, family, community and organizational levels and for each of the phases and moments of the administrative process of restoring the rights of children and adolescent victims of sexual violence. This model provides a broad conceptual and referential framework, as well as the approaches and guiding principles that allow the implementation of tools, interventions and actions for intercultural psychosocial intervention for children and adolescents with threatened or violated rights, victims of sexual violence, who are going through the administrative route for the restoration of rights.
