Baseline of socio-cultural and technical adequacy of public health programs

Baseline of socio-cultural and technical adaptations of public health programs in indigenous peoples of Antioquia, Cauca, Nariño and Vaupés.

Through this project we conducted a baseline survey on cultural and technical adaptations in public health programs, in the perspective of the construction of health care models with indigenous peoples in the prioritized territories. In this process, we found that, with the exception of some specific experiences, there is a great absence of program adaptations for these populations, as well as a lack of tools on the part of officials and the health system itself to carry them out. This project resulted in a proposal to carry out the processes of sociocultural and technical adaptation of health programs and projects for indigenous communities.
