Jair Baylon Prieto

I am a nursing assistant at the Vaupés regional SENA. I was born in Mitú and belong to the Desano ethnic group. I began my career in healthcare at IPS Vaupés Sano. Subsequently, for five years I worked in the expanded immunization program in the Sikuani, Puinave, and Curripaco indigenous communities in the department of Guainía. For two years, I worked with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) carrying out public health activities (PIC and PAI) in the areas of Querarí, Alto Apaporis, Carurú, and medio and bajo Vaupés, in the department of Vaupés. Currently, I work with Sinergias as a nursing assistant at the Pueblo Nuevo health center in the Carretera area of Vaupés.
