José Esteban Valencia

I am an indigenous leader from the Macuna ethnic group of Pirá Paraná. I am a traditional healer in training for newborn care, menstruation, and illnesses. I have organizational experience with ACAIPI in Pirá Paraná in life planning processes, community governance, educational proposals for the area, and health models. I am currently part of Sinergias as an advisor and I am also ACAIPI's health delegate. I have been accompanying organizational processes of different Associations of Traditional Indigenous Authorities in the department of Vaupés.
