Design of the National Plan for Prevention and Comprehensive Care for people with Suicidal Behavior with emphasis on primary health care and psychosocial approach.

In this project, a National Plan for Prevention and Comprehensive Care for people with Suicidal Behavior was developed, framed in a model of primary health care with psychosocial, differential and human rights approaches, which included the components of early detection of risk, diagnosis, initial intervention, referral to the expert professional or to a higher level of complexity institution if the situation required it, and management of the family and social context where the person who presents suicidal behaviors develops.
